2022 Vineyard Road Cuvée
Our Vineyard Road Cuvée is comprised of 50% Viognier and 50% Chardonnay, each of which grow on opposite sides of the road that leads up into the heart of our vineyard - Hence the name Vineyard Road Cuvée.
The Chardonnay provides a strong foundation with its flavors of crisp apple, caramel, and brioche nuances, while the Viognier offers bright aromatics of peach, citrus and lemongrass while offering a balanced and lingering mouthfeel.

Vineyard Road Cuvée – A beautiful blend of two classic white varietals; 50% Viognier and 50% Chardonnay. The grapes reside on opposite sides of the road leading to the heart of the Del Rio Vineyard Estate, these two complement each other in the bottle just as they do in our vineyard. The Chardonnay provides the backbone with a beautiful full texture, while the Viognier offers vibrant floral notes and elegant fruit, resulting in a harmonious wine.
Tasting Notes
Enjoy the inviting and delicate yet fragrant nose of tropical aromas such as melon, banana and lychee and stone fruits such as fresh pear and apricot. Take a sip and the distinctive tangerine, mango, and ginger flavors combined for a creamy, medium bodied and well balanced wine!
Winemaking
A beautiful alliance of Viognier and Chardonnay. The fruit-forward characters of the Viognier and firm structure of the Chardonnay create a rich and layered wine. Blended together after fermentation and 40% barrel aged in both new and neutral oak.
Vineyard
South facing, our Southern Oregon Vineyard Estate is located at the northern end of the Rogue Valley. With elevations ranging from 700 to 1800 feet, the primarily ancient volcanic and alluvial fan soils provide well drained, nutrient soils which are ideal for growing premium wine grapes.
Food Pairing
Enjoy this refreshing wine all by itself or accompany it a brunch highlighting a flaky pear tart or a summer fresh strawberry and gorgonzola salad. This wine will be a wonderful addition to your summer dinner table. Pair it with a Thai chicken curry or a rich search scallop dish.
