Press Release, Gold Hill, OR (January 30, 2024) - Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Jolee Wines is launching its newest chillable red wine, Jolee Semi-Sparkling Pinot Noir. A lively effervescent Pinot Noir showcasing a bouquet of red fruit such as cherries, raspberries, and strawberries, with a hint of floral notes.
This estate-grown Pinot Noir comes from Del Rio Vineyards, located in the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon. Jolee wines were inspired by founder, Jolee Wallace, whose mission is to Cultivate Kindness and bring people together. “Unexpected kindness is the most powerful, least costly and most underrated agent of human change,” said Jolee Wallace.
"At Del Rio Vineyards, we consistently nurture the creativity of our team, ensuring that our approach remains both innovative and relevant. Meeting customer demands for more sparkling options from Oregon with lower alcohol content is a challenge, especially when crafting a red semi-sparkling wine. This task highlights the skill of our winemaker, Jean-Michel Jussiaume” explained Lindsey Zagar, Marketing Director for Del Rio Vineyards.
The Jolee Pinot Noir undergoes fermentation in a Beaujolais style, emphasizing rounded fresh fruit, and is complemented by lively effervescence which adds a playful and festive element to the wine. Designed to be served chilled, this semi-sparkling Pinot Noir is the perfect addition to the Jolee portfolio that includes a semi-sparkling Pinot Gris, Rose (a semi-sparkling, semi-sweet co-fermented Muscat & Cabernet Sauvignon), and the Rouge red blend.
Jolee Semi-Sparkling Pinot Noir will initially launch in Oregon and Washington in 2024 and a nationwide launch is planned for 2025. All Jolee wines can also be found at https://delriovineyards.com/collections/jolee.
