Excellence, Integrity, Heritage and Passion: these four words have been our guide over the past 20 years as we navigated the establishment of a vineyard, winery, and tasting room. In 1998, we planted the vineyard estate, cultivating the farming legacy of Del Rio Orchard and our own agricultural roots to create a landmark in the Rogue Valley wine landscape. Hard work and determination have driven us to new heights. Our amazing team, wonderful customers, and the support of family and friends sustains us and constantly rewards us. We celebrate with this limited release 20th Anniversary Cabernet Sauvignon. We hope you will join us as we continue to build our dream of crafting world class wines. ~ Rob & Jolee Wallace
2016 began with an unusually warm spring leading us to bloom in mid-May, a week earlier than the average vintage. The warmth kept up through the season and by the end of August harvest had begun. This warm vintage benefit the late red varietal, include the Syrah. It contributed to rich, colorful wines with soft and supple tannins.
Sourced from the steepest slopes of the vineyards’ finest Syrah block, grapes for this port see extended sun exposure, leading to extensive ripening and producing beautifully rich fruit. The fortified wine is barrel aged in neutral oak for four years before release and will continue to mature for a decade or more.
We are dedicated to spreading the Del Rio Vineyards love! For all of our restaurant, retail, distributor and trade friends, please feel free to download and print any trade material you may need.
