Drink Pink
For every 6-bottle bundle of Jolee Rose, Rock Point Pinot Noir Rosé, and/or Del Rio Grenache Rosé sold during the month of October, we will donate $5 to Asante’s Rogue Valley locations to help reduce the cost of mammograms and support educational programs that are aimed at spreading awareness about breast cancer.
This October marks the 15th year we have held our Drink Pink campaign in support of the fight against breast cancer by directly giving back to our community.
The Power of Pink
Drink Pink is a campaign that's been close to our hearts for well over a decade. However this past year, it took on a whole new level of importance for the Del Rio team when one of our own was diagnosed with breast cancer at just 36 years old.
Breast Cancer Statistics
About 1 in 8 U.S. women (about 13%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among U.S. women after skin cancers.
In 2024, an estimated 310,720 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in women in the U.S. About 85% of breast cancers occur in women who have no family history of breast cancer.
About 2,790 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in men in 2024. A man’s lifetime risk of breast cancer is about 1 in 726.
