Our Del Rio Vineyard sits at the northern end of the Rogue Valley, with elevations ranging from 700 to 1,800 feet. Ancient volcanic and alluvial fan soils provide excellent drainage and natural fertility, creating ideal conditions for premium winegrowing. Our 30-year-old Grenache block is planted at lower elevations on south-facing slopes, ensuring optimal sun exposure and even ripening. Deep soils promote balanced vine growth and moderate yields, key to developing the wine’s complexity and finesse. The cooling influence of the nearby Rogue River helps preserve natural acidity and freshness, making this an ideal site for producing a bright, expressive, and elegantly structured rosé.

Our estate-grown Grenache is farmed specifically for rosé production. Harvested during the cool midnight hours, the chilled grapes undergo a brief cold soak to allow for gentle color and aromatic extraction before soft pressing. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel to preserve freshness and aromatic purity. Upon completion of primary fermentation, the wine is racked and aged on fine lees to enhance texture and complexity, followed by gentle filtration prior to bottling.
