2022 Estate Reserve Pinot Gris
The Estate Reserve Pinot Gris is a beautiful representation of the rich and full-bodied French Alsatian style Pinot Gris. The wine fermentation was divided into two equal parts, with one half in stainless steel tanks to enhance the fruit characteristics and the other half in neutral barrels to create extra structure. Adding substance and character to this wine, 80% of the cuvée underwent malolactic fermentation.
Slightly off-dry, this Pinot Gris delivers floral aromas with notes and delivers flavors of lemon zest, ripe pear, and finishes with great texture and bright acidity. The Pinot Gris will benefit from higher temperature service (52 – 55F), both ready for opening today or ageing for the next few years.
